IES Consulting was founded to create business by leveraging on innovative solutions to environmental issues, with special focus on Assessment, Monitoring and Early Warning.

In July 2003, we started exploiting a new, end-to-end process “MyME” for the automated mapping of burnt (“burn scars”) and devegetated areas from spaceborne and airborne Earth Observation. The related Italian patent was released in 2003,  and the inherent PCT in 2006. PCT was converted by EPO into an European patent, uninterruptedly maintained since 2008 on France, Greece , Italy, Portugal and Spain.
